Fighting Cellulite with Yoga

Here are some cellulite-bursting poses which target your thighs and butt, the areas most prone to dimpling.

Half Shoulder Stand


   1.Lie on your back with your arms resting alongside your thighs.
   2.Bend your knees and curl them up toward your forehead.
   3.Place your hands under your hips for support, elbows on the floor. 
   4.Hold for 8-10 deep breaths.
   5.Slowly release your knees and roll back gently down to the floor.

Standing Forward Bend

1.Stand with feet hip-distance apart.
2.Hinge forward at the hips, keeping a straight bend in your knees.
3.Lay your chest on your upper thighs as you let your head fall toward the ground.
4.Slowly straighten your legs, making sure your knees don’t lock and your hips stay over the center of your feet.

Bridge Pose 
   1.Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on mat, hip-distance apart.
    2.Press down into your feet, and lift your hips and butt off the ground.
  3.Push your shoulders down away from your ears and interlace hands under your hips, pressing fists into mat.
 4.Tighten butt, hamstring and core muscles for 5-8 breaths.

Tree Pose
1.Stand with your arms at your sides.
2.Place the bottom of your left foot in the side of your right thigh with your knee bent to the side.
3.Lift your arms and press your palms together in front of your chest.
4.Inhale and exhale twice, then lift your arms above your head as you inhale a third time, palms still facing inward, add fingers stretched toward the ceiling.
5.Exhale then inhale and bend your torso to the left.

Rocking Boat Pose
1.Lie on a mat with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
2.Place your hands on your thighs, with your torso and head straight.
3.Lean back 45 degrees and lift your legs so that your feet point toward the ceiling about 45 degrees off the ground, making a V shape with your body.

Bow Pose
1.Place mat and lie on your stomach.
2.Bend your knees and bring your feet toward your head.
3.Reach around with your arms and grasp your ankles.
4.Lift your shoulders from the floor as you pull on your ankles.
5.Hold as you inhale and exhale, then release.

Morning Sickness Salad

Pregnancy is a life-changing, amazing experience but the morning sickness that comes with it is a hell of a thing. Here’s a recipe for an incredible salad that tastes great, is super low calories and contains watermelon which is ideal for morning sickness.

Ingredients:
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
6 black olives
1½ cups seedless watermelon
1½ cups arugula
¼ cup fresh mint, chopped
1/3 cup crumbled pasteurized feta cheese

Directions:
1.     In a large serving bowl, add onions, lime juice, olive oil, and olives and mix, leave mixture to stand for 10 minutes.

1.Sit erect with feet stretched in front.

3.Exhaling, twist your body from waist towards your right, moving head and hands simultaneously.
4.Inhale and come back to original position, maintaining your hands shoulder level and parallel to each other.
5.Repeat on other side.

Ham's Pose with One Leg
1.Lie down on your back and straighten your legs, but keeping your knees together.
